Space Invaders Glowing Lamp

To make this lamp I modeled a set of classic space invaders with 3D software (Blender), had them 3D printed from plastic, cleaned/finished the prints, made molds from the prints, cast those molds with resin that I hand mixed with photoreactive pigments, the assembled them into a lamp. The lamp is lit by normal white and UV LEDs so that the invaders always glow brightly, whether they've been around sunlight or not. Click here for the photo tutorial.
