Kris DeGraeve
Kris DeGraeve is a practicing designer and artist, focusing on generative and glitch art. She has a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree. Since then she’s worked as designer of graphics, websites, jewelry, textiles, props, and furniture. She has extensive experience with cnc technologies like laser cutters and 3D printers, as well as traditional art mediums. Her work has been featured online and in print in Make:Magazine, BoingBoing.net, H&M’s Lifestyle Blog, and ad campaigns for Brach’s Candy and the Indiana Lottery, among others. She’s more interested in creating elegant solutions to complicated problems than she is with any particular method or medium – most of her knowledge was earned as a result of wanting to do things she didn’t know how to do (yet.) She’s currently a contributor to a variety of online publications including How Did You Make This?, Visual Provisions, and Instructables.
